To work with a different data stream such as looking at parcels, voter information, birth records ( if loaded) or any other loaded sets of data there are a couple steps.
1. Click on the drop-down menu next to the word view in the upper left hand part of the screen.
2. The options will vary depending on what data has been loaded for your district instance. Each data stream has it’s own variables and characteristics for filtering and selecting. To add data streams, contact the Customer Experience team. Voter and Birth records must be obtained by the district staff locally and provided to GuideK12.
Unique combinations of data streams can be generated by the GuideK12 Customer Experience team. For example, which houses have an active voter AND students? This custom query can be set up by the GuideK12 customer team for your instance.
Once an option is selected, for example Parcels, the filters, summary window and map by options all adjust to reflect the new data.
